Dr. Rodriguez is the Helen L. Kimmel Professor of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and chair of the Hansjörg Wyss Department of Plastic Surgery at NYU Langone Health, a position he has held since 2013.
He directs the institution's Face Transplant Program and led one of the most extensive facial transplants performed to date. His clinical work spans facial reconstruction, cosmetic facial surgery, and gender-affirming surgery, and he leads the Laura and Isaac Perlmutter Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Center.
